Magnetic Lashes

One Two Lash Magnetic Extensions in Review

Presentation
The lashes were shipped right away with no problem and the box that they come in is very sleek looking. It’s a black compact with a gold design that looks like the Chanel logo. Also, there are two sets of
lashes that are in the box, which is nice for the price.

Application
The compact comes with two pairs of lashes – two pairs for each top lid and two pairs for each bottom lid, with each strip being about an inch in length. I found it easiest to just apply the lashes on the outer eye
because every time I tried to put the lashes on the inside, the magnet would attach to the outer lashes. Also, the magnetic tweezer was hard to use because it doesn’t allow you to get close to the eyelid. I
ended up just using my index and middle finger to apply the lashes. In total it took me about 30 minutes to master the application. I think these would be more difficult for older individuals to use because of the
size. While trying to apply them, I dropped one of the strips and it took me a minute to find them, and it takes a close eye to perfect the positioning of the lashes.

Durability
I applied my makeup before putting on the lashes because that’s normally my routine. I applied eyeshadow and eyeliner, but I didn’t put mascara on so I could see how full the lashes looked. To my surprise they looked great! I love the natural look that they give and I bet if you apply mascara to the lashes you can create a more dramatic effect. The lashes are very comfortable and I was forgetting that they were on because they’re so weightless!

Success
While on, they looked perfect, but if snagged they may pull right off. For me, I wore them for about an hour before I decided to change sweatshirts, and in the process of pulling my sweater off somehow the lashes were caught and became completely lost in my sweater. For the cost of the lashes, this was disappointing because now I’m out one half of one of the sets. Now that I know that I’m going to be more cautious with them. All in all, they were better than I had first anticipated.
One Two Lash Before and After
Cost/Expense
The lashes are costlier than falsies at the drugstore, but you also don’t have to worry about buying eyelash glue and risk getting that in your eyes. They’re also much cheaper than lash extensions but they’re not permanent. They’re very safe for the eyes, and I didn’t have any damage to my lashes after applying or removing.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I really like this product. I’ve seen it advertised on social media and I had always wanted to try it so I’m glad that I did! While the strips are small, which makes it hard to apply, once they’re on they
look and feel amazing. I would suggest these as an alternative to the falsies that are applied with glue but if you’re looking for permanent lashes these are only a temporary application.
